I held my World Card Making Day Event today. We had a great time & made fun projects. We made 6 cards & everyone went homw ith 2 goody bags 1 filled with a sample assortment of Ski Slope DSP & the other a candy bag. Here are some pictures.
Here is a Gold Embossed ornament card. After embossing I colored in with Real Red marker. We crimped the edges of the Shimmery White cardstock to make a frame. The ornament image is from the Christmas Classics set. This was a very easy card & the gold embossing really makes it POP!
This card is made with the Snow Swirled stamp set with Always Artichoke ink & cardstock & of course a layer of gold & Red Riding Hood cardstock. But what really makes this card stand out is the awesome new 1 1/4" Red Riding Hood /Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon from the brand new Holiday Mini Catalog.
Now for the goody bags. This is a 6x6" assortment of our new Ski Slope DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The topper is Shimmery White cardstock layered with a Baja Breeze Top Note die cut Then stamped with the new set Winter Post also from the Holiday Mini Catalog finished off wuth a snowflake die cut. Simple, pretty & quick!
The last image is the adorable Owl Goody bag. These are super quick & easy. I used the SU Exclusive Top Note die cut for The Big Shot die cut machine. Then you need a 1 1/4" & 3/4" circle punches, and the small oval punch (beak). These would make adorable treats for school, church or co-workers.
Please let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.

Beautiful projects, Joanne! What a great way to celebrate World Card Making Day.
