My sister & her husband was coming from Idaho for a family visit. Since I live in NY this is a long trip so I really wanted to make them feel welcome. But with working a full time job & helping out with grand kids & of course stamping I was pressed for time. But then I started thinking about my new Pennant die for my Big Shot & this is what I came up with. It hangs on my fireplace as soon as you walk in my front door. This banner probably took me about 30 minutes to make once I started cutting. It was a ton of fun. having all of the coordinating paper right there knowing that Stampin Up has put them all together for me made it so much easier, not much thinking was involved.
The scallops are on the same die so when you cut multiple pennants at the same time you are cutting scallops also. Because the Designer Series Papers are double sided you automatically have multiple designs.
The Pennant was made with Urban Garden Designer Series Paper (#112042) & the colors that are in that are:
Kiwi Kiss
Not Quite Navy
Baja Breeze
Basic Grey
The ribbon is 5/8" Striped Grosgrain in:
Baja Breeze
Kiwi Kiss
I also used solid card stock in the same colors.
Also My very good friend Karen found these letters on a clearance rack for me! Since I have not bought the alphabet die yet they matched perfect. Thank you Karen!
In this case I also used fishing twine to hold my scallop onto my pennant with glue dots. Very quick very easy I hope you like it!

That's a terrific banner! Hmmm, I'm going to look around the house to see if I can find a spot to display one, too (no fireplace or mantle). Then I'll definitely CASE you!
